Hammerite Rust Remover Dip is specially developed for the safe and effective removal of rust from metal items. Ideal for car parts, nuts, bolts and garden tools. Just immerse rusty items into the dip and a couple of hours later they are rust-free.

Preparation

Remove loose rust with a wire brush or coarse sandpaper

Application

  1. Shake container well and pour required amount into a plastic container.
  2. Dilute 1 part Rust Remover Dip with 9 parts water and mix thoroughly.
  3. Place rusty item into container and leave overnight.
  4. Rinse thoroughly under running water and remove remaining rust with a wire brush.
  5. Allow time to dry.
  6. If rust is not completely removed repeat process for a further 24 hours.
  7. To avoid any further rusting coat surface with Hammerite paint.
  8. Do not return any surplus Hammerite Rust Remover Dip back into the originial container after use.

Cleaning and Storage

Clean container with water. Hammerite Rust Remover Dip should be stored in a dry well ventilated area. Protect from frost and direct sunlight.
